Have you missed us? We have definitely missed sharing with you.
So here what’s been going on with the Lefevres over the past few months… in a nutshell.
December brought with it Eliza’s first Christmas. It was so special to be able to wake up Christmas morning, just the three of us, and open a few gifts together and enjoy some of our favorite Christmas movies as a family of 3 for the first time…and for the last time. 
A follow up to it being our first AND last Christmas as a family of 3, the New Year brought with it some joyous news. In the first week of January, we found out that we are expecting Baby Lefevre no. 2! So we will celebrate Christmas 2018 as a family of 4. Eliza Jane is going to be the best big sister, although she may not fully understand it yet. 
For whatever reason, February is a blur… All I can assume is that I must have gotten very little sleep being in my first trimester and taking care of a nearly 1-year-old who has struggled with nighttime sleep since she was 3-months-old. So if you know where I was in February, or what I was doing, by all means, you are more than welcome to share that information with me.
March brought Eliza Jane’s first birthday! She celebrated with her extended family and a stack of pancakes. At the end of her birthday get-together, we announced to our family that Eliza is going to be a big sister in September. 
On the first Friday in April we had an ultrasound for Baby Lefevre no. 2 which told us that Eliza is going to have a baby BROTHER! I don’t think we could be any more thrilled by this news. At this point we decided not to make our pregnancy public until I was 20 weeks pregnant, so we kept this secret for about three more weeks before telling anyone other than our family.
Our dear friends, the Andrews (Jess and Javan), welcomed their sweet baby girl, Brielle Maree, into the world in May, and she is absolutely perfect. I was so privileged to take their newborn photos when Brielle was only a week old. Honestly, it feels like we took their pregnancy reveal photos just yesterday and now this sweet tiny human is here with us.
